My FIFA Fantasy World Cup Team

June 10, 2010 § Leave a comment

So I picked my FIFA Fantasy Soccer Team for the World Cup. It’s not just a “grab your favorite 23” format: you have to have 3 keepers, 7 defenders, 8 midfielders, and 5 forwards. In the early rounds, you’re only allowed 2 players from each team, more from a team in later rounds.

More importantly, I’m in the Soccer By Ives group. Sign up for the FIFA stuff here. After you fill out your team, you’ll have the opportunity to join a private league as well. Ives’s code is 346014-107467. Bring it, y’all.

I’m most excited for Mesut Ozil. With Ballack out and Klose rounding into form, I can see the young German just racking up points in the group stage.
